Revitalize the Plaza
Attract residents and visitors by promoting outdoor dining, public art, and destination signage.
Improve lighting and landscaping to make the plaza more inviting and feel safer in the evenings.

Improve and expand sidewalks, bike lanes, public transit, parks, and trails.
Reduce speed limits near sensitive areas such as schools and encourage more crosswalks in areas with high foot traffic.
Supporting small local farms strengthens our local economy, promotes food security, and helps preserve our agricultural lands. I want to work with local farmers to ensure they have the support they need to succeed.
Streamline permitting making the process for getting a permit to develop faster, clearer, and more predictable without eliminating necessary environmental, safety, or community protections
Improve vacant storefronts. The city can streamline permitting, connect entrepreneurs with available commercial spaces, provide incentives for tenant improvements, and work with property owners to activate long-vacant storefronts.
Continue to promote and encourage city events to bring our community together, support local artists, businesses, and create opportunities for youth and their families to participate in.
I support thoughtful mixed-use development that brings housing, local businesses, and community services together. By encouraging housing above storefronts, supporting infill development, and creating more walkable and bike-friendly neighborhoods, we can expand housing opportunities while strengthening our local economy.
Expand recreation and enrichment opportunities by partnering with schools, non-profits, and community organizations.
Establish a Youth Advisory Council and give young residents a formal voice in local government and policymaking.
Collaborate with the County to coordinate resources to improve healthcare options as well as homelessness and community wellness services.
Support local non-profit organizations who are managing clothing and food drives, and actively caring for the houseless who are in need of basic necessities such as clothing and warm meals.
